Calista Siahaan

Research Assistant

I’m a second-year student at the University of Toronto Scarborough, double majoring in Biochemistry and Human Biology. My academic interests include epigenetics and environmental health, and I have research experience investigating biowaste use in bio-adsorption. I’m passionate about understanding how environmental factors influence health, particularly through epigenetic mechanisms in somatic diseases and mental disorders. I plan to pursue medical school and research bridging environment and health, and I am excited to work in a team that contributes to this mission!
